My V2 base being repaired, I could not check until yesterday: I got no working rev lights in any car I tried, not even the Ferrari 488 from te Red Pack.
I replaced the old ac.xml file (using Win10Pro if that is relevant ?) with the new one in OP.
Speed/gears/upshift warning work (but they did that before too), the rev lights of my Porsche 918 RSR and Formula Carbon wheels are still dead...
I compared the old vs new file (not that I know much about computers) and the only difference I could see (did not check the <cars> part, was that the old had flashbrackets="no" while the new file shows flashbrackets="yes".
revleds were "yes" in both files.
A quote on the AC support forum about the issue in general is not giving us much hope I'm afraid:

Basically to have the LED's working the game needs to have a "library" to pull data from essentially and that library has given Stefano issues in the past and know's full well it will give him issues again so has decided not to implement it for now. Will it NEVER happen, I dont know. Maybe one day something will change and it will be more plausible, but for now it looks like its a No Go.
Glad my older version of Fanaled's still works tho...so not the end of the world.
Using an older version of Fanaleds (which I did for a while) gets rev lights working (at that time), but I lost rumble on my brake and throttle pedals (V3), which are connected via USB.
