Fanaleds forum

When I open the XML file I don't see the <settings version="1" /> at the bottom of the file or anywhere. Also, in the first step it says "Without the board connected start fanaleds and go to File->Open Settings folder". What board?


Under File->Open Settings folder I have two folders. Default file which is a XML Document and lastlog a Text Document. When I open the Default file with notepade this is what I get:

I found the reason I was not seeing <settings version="1" >

I didn't have a global XML document under Open settings folder. All I had was a default XML file and the lastlog file. After I clicked on the Save settings to active profile button a global XML file was created. Anyway, I am going to start a new thread with the actual problem I am having and the reason I was trying to create the lastlog file from the very beginning.

And by the way. In order to create the global XMP Document I had to select (Default profile) before clicking the "Save settings to active profile" button. If I had iRacing or any other than default selected under Active profile before clicking the "Save settings to active profile" button, the I would get a "FanaLEDs.exe has stopped working" message window.

Solved via email contact after trying 2.3e.
